Ambition can be a double-edged sword. It can encourage you to challenge your limits, reach the impossible, overcome your worst fears. It can empower you and even save you. But it can also be a suffocating, harmful spiral. It can trap us in a loop and make us believe that we are thirsty, that we need more. It can prevent us from realising that we already have what we really need. We can’t taste what we have achieved because we want more, we feel like we need more. I need to believe that at some point in my life I will be complete and be capable of saying to my self “You are fine, we are ine, I´m fine, thanks”.
